FINALS DUN DUN DUN!

I apologize for the lack of a new comic on Friday, with the semester coming to a close and finals just around the corner, we just couldn't find the time to create one. You'll notice the lineweight in today's comic is a lot slimmer than it has been previously, and I also added subtle flesh tones to make the characters look a bit more warm. Part of the reason for the change resulted from my browsing through deviantart, admiring one of my favorite artists on there, Dapper Dan, and deciding that I really wasn't satisfied with the way the comic was currently looking.

That being said, I'm now in the process of refining my line work and slimming it up, so that there's not so much emphasis on the line, but the shape that the line is making. Let me know what you think about the "new look."

I have a final tomorrow, that's an open note exam, that I can take sitting right here at this desk. That is the last thing I have to do for this semester, so I haven't been terribly stressed lately. I can't say the same for my friends.

We're hoping to get the new website launched by this Thursday. Call me crazy, but I think we can do it. Look for it. It's going to be awesome. Much better than this junky website we've been putting up with that is too spread out, too tacky looking, and too difficult to navigate.

More Sketches!

I have decided to start sketching more regularly, and will post them here to the blog until the new website is finished, and then we'll see where they go from there. As you can see here, my focus and alertness began to fade throughout this series of sketches. I drew the old man, then the guy in the bottom left, then the right, and then Shawn just sort of floating through the air. I am tired now.
