Portal

Kathy bought me The Orange Box as an early birthday present, and one thing you should note about this game is just how orange the box is. It is a vibrant neon tangerine color that I have never before seen on a retail product. The games inside are also great.

The fan on my 6600GT has literally fallen off, as noticed when installing another hard drive. I called BFG Tech and it sounded like they were going to replace the card, as it has become useless, and I am now operating with Jared's old FX5500. I have a card of the same class, but when I put it in the fan started whirring louder and higher pitched. I pulled out my FX5500, and have yet to decide whether or not I take apart the fan compartment to see if it's fixable. Needless to say, I can't run Portal or Team Fortress 2 terrifically well, so I'm going to hold off on Half-Life: Episode 2 until I can get my 6600 replaced.

Team Fortress 2 looks really neat and plays well, but will take some time to get decent at.

Portal is awesome. Kathy and I haven't finished it yet, but it's really quite fun. Looking forward to seeing what else is produced now that this idea has been put forth on the table.

The game begs to be played on 1680x1050.

I love Team Fortress 2 that is in the Orange Box! My friend has already set up a server with co-location from Nationwide Bandwidth 67.90.47.47, (a must to every server owner, imo) and we are enjoying it with many other gamers :) I also completed Portal, quite fun and challenging.
