Here's the latest and greatest I was able to churn out after burning through some physics homework. Here's the general idea behind this.
The viewer, or the camera, begins to slowly become one with the running character's point of view. Once the camera has taken on the eyes of the character, we can see that he's running through a dark tunnel, rather erratically, but we're not sure why yet. All we know is that he's trying to get to the light at the end of the tunnel.
He finally makes it to the end, and the camera is blurred out due to the intense juxtaposition of bright daylight and the dark tunnel. The point of view is now obviously from another perspective, perhaps one more true of the actual viewer's eyes, and it's looking for something. It starts out on a long shot and zooms and to scan the building, anticipating the appearance of our running character. He appears almost completely off the screen, just enough to catch the eye of the camera. Unfortunately for him though, we now find out what he was running from, as a T-rex easily gulps him up.
