Kathy and I have returned from the Boot Scoot 2007 preview party with pictures! My boot ranked something like 37th out of the 85+ boots entered into the "contest." Not quite top 20, but it seems like the higher ranking ones all dealt w/the common theme of western heritage and rodeo tradition, seeing as it's the 75th anniversary of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.
If you want to run out and find my boot, it will be somewhere in the Bush Intercontinental Airport. I'll be able to tell you exactly where later, when the boot is in place.

I know I look rather silly in the first photo, but it shows some of the other boots(the boots in the back three rows were some of the top 20). Kathy caught me in between expressions (i.e. I thought the picture had already been taken). That is my boot.
