Yesterday was National Give People Free Pancakes at IHOP day. I'm not quite certain of the actual title, but free pancakes were to be had. I was not made aware of this until last night when I checked slickdeals.net just before going to bed, as sometimes there are last minute things that pop up.... like a notice saying that today was going to start with free pancakes.
So yes, Kathy and I ate free pancakes. It was good fun. Of course, throw in two beverages, a tip, and a small donation to whatever organization was responsible for the pancake giveaway, and I came out of IHOP seven dollars lighter.
It was almost free. Thus the comic. Enjoy.
